Seeking candidates for this full-time position with ability and passion to develop, supervise, and implement a comprehensive youth ministry program for the catechetical, spiritual, social, and community involvement of youth and young adults. Will work under the direction of the DRE and Pastor to provide catechetical and faith formation, coordination of liturgies, sacramental preparation, retreats and conferences, service opportunities, social activities, parent workshops, camps, fundraising and leadership recruitment and training. This position will supervise a part time Jr. High Coordinator and a part time Administrative Assistant.
Active member of a Catholic parish; Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in theology or related field. Certification in Youth Ministry or equivalent; three years of parish experience in youth ministry preferred. Will possess enthusiasm and ability to engage youth and young adults, develop leadership, recruit volunteers, and provide community outreach. Will demonstrate effective oral and written communication, organizational and multi-tasking skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and social media. Must regularly work evenings and weekends.
