Social Justice Committee

Vision

The Social Justice Committee will strive to empower the community of St. Raymond to broaden, deepen, and strengthen their commitment to pursue social justice within the Parish and global communities.

Mission Statement

The Social Justice Committee will actively facilitate and promote communication, education and social justice awareness and action among the community of St. Raymond. The priorities of the committee will be;

Facilitate the planning and implementation of activities available to every member of the Church and community through worship, reflection, education, service and action.
Educate the members of this Parish and others on social justice issues in the light of Catholic social teaching.
Work towards eliminating the root causes of such social realities as poverty, racism, and oppression; develops effective alliances with Parishes and communities at large.
